Junior Security Officer

The program coordinator will be responsible for the program’s documentation, maintaining records, and coordinating with other departments. The coordinator will also be responsible for arranging and executing events, and maintaining networks and communication. Director, Center for Pedagogical Excellence

The Office of Academic Affairs at Habib University invites applications for the new position of Director of the Center for Pedagogical Excellence (CPE). Reporting to the Associate Dean for Faculty Development and Research, the founding Director of the CPE will help envision and build a state-of-the-art center at Habib University for faculty to learn the latest evidenced-based student-centered teaching and learning practices and technologies. Through a range of workshops and seminars, both developed by the Center itself as well as by recognized visiting leaders in pedagogical advancement hosted by the Center, and through one-on-one sessions with faculty seeking assistance in applying new teaching and assessment strategies to their existing courses, the CPE will help faculty remain current on developments relating to inclusive pedagogy, active learning, educational technology, and high-impact teaching practices.

Associate Dean - Faculty Development and Research

The Office of Academic Affairs at Habib University invites applicants for the new position of Associate Dean for Faculty Development and Research. Reporting to the Vice President for Academic Affairs and Dean of Faculty, the successful candidate will have a Ph.D. or Ed.D. and extensive teaching experience at the undergraduate level, as well as at least two years of administrative experience, preferably at the Assistant Dean level or above at a liberal arts college. Accomplished Department Chairs with a demonstrated commitment to undergraduate teaching, who are contemplating a move into academic administration, will also be considered. The new Associate Dean will have primary oversight responsibility for fulfilling the University’s commitment to pedagogical excellence at the undergraduate level.
